It remembers a thousand faces and human stories, lived and told in it\u2019s walls.\u00a0It was designed as a recreation place with guest rooms upstairs and a restaurant with a dance floor on the ground floor. In the summer, the restaurant would be enlarged by setting tables outside.<\/p>\n<p>It is from these times that the name \u201cSzwajcarka\u201d was coined. Old postcards show a grand structure of \u201cGaststaette Schweizerei\u201d surmounting a newly planted forest.\u00a0These pictures were taken in the \u201920 and \u201930 of the previous century. For a short while (between 1940 and 1945) the house was called \u201cThe Green Forest\u201d (\u201cGruener Wald\u201d) a mountain restaurant.\u00a0Years passed, the surrounding of our \u201cSzwajcarka\u201d changed, trees grew. The house \u2013 retaining its original purpose &#8211; became a guest house pleasantly called \u201cJunak 2\u201d (\u201cAdventurer 2\u201d).<br \/>In the nineties it was bought and renewed by an electric company (hence the sign on the tower which is dated 1994).\u00a0It enchanted us in the autumn of 2010. It was love at first sight.<\/p>\n<p>Since 2011 we have owned \u201cSzwajcarka\u201d, but perhaps given it\u2019s history one should say that since 2011 it has allowed us to accompany it.\u00a0People come and go, principles and systems change, but \u201cSzwajcarka\u201d lasts and has been standing for 100 years.
